Sami is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy and corporate affairs, currently serving as a Senior Public Policy and External Affairs Specialist at Uber in Bangladesh since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sami held the position of Head of Corporate Affairs at ValueFirst Digital Media Pvt. Ltd. for seven years, where responsibilities included leading cross-functional initiatives and addressing critical business issues. Sami's career also includes significant roles at airtel, focusing on building relationships with government and stakeholders, and at Warid Telecom, managing interconnection relations. Early career experiences involved brand management at bti and client services at 4th HOUSE. Sami holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Dhaka and a BBA in Marketing from the American International University-Bangladesh.
