Louisa Imperiale is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advancement and fundraising across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Advancement Officer at Issue One since February 2024, Louisa previously held the role of Vice President for Development at Common Cause and Chief Advancement Officer at American University, where support for the School of Communication was a focus. Louisa's diverse background includes founding and leading a tech start-up, managing high-profile fundraising efforts for the Republican National Committee and U.S. Senator Arlen Specter, and working in fund development for prominent cultural institutions. Louisa holds a PhD in Communication from American University, an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from The University of Alabama, and a BA in Nonprofit Management from the same institution.
