Nicole Lagace

Nicole Lagace is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and strategic communications. Currently serving as Vice President Communications at Issue One since February 2023, Nicole previously held the role of Senior Advisor/Chief of Information at the Rhode Island Department of State from December 2015 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing all communications. As Executive Director of HousingWorks RI from October 2009 to December 2015, Nicole focused on raising awareness about affordable housing's economic significance. Additional experience includes roles as Director of Public Relations at the RI Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Communications Coordinator at Aging 2000, alongside earlier positions in web production and as Assistant Canvass Director at MassPIRG. Nicole holds a BA in Journalism from Saint Michael's College.
