Mikael Wahlberg

Mikael Wahlberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mikael is currently employed at IST Group, where they have held several positions since 2020. These include serving as the Deputy CEO and previously as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President / Chief Growth Officer. Mikael also briefly served as a Board Member at IST Group. Prior to joining IST Group, Mikael worked at HL Design & Media AB as a Board Member from 2019 to 2022.

Mikael's earlier experience includes working at Sveriges Radio as a Sports Reporter from 2001 to 2020. Mikael also worked at Combitech Sverige, where they served as the Head of Combitech Training Institute and later as the Consultant Unit Manager from 2019 to 2020. At IST International AB, Mikael held various roles such as Delivery Manager, Program Manager, and Project Manager from 2013 to 2015. Mikael worked at IST Sverige AB as a Project Manager from 2007 to 2012. Before that, they worked at PostNord Strålfors as an R&D Engineer from 2001 to 2004, and at Smålandsposten as a Sports Reporter from 1998 to 2001.

Mikael Wahlberg started their education at Teknikum Växjö, where they obtained a Gymnasieexamen in the field of Naturvetenskap och teknik in the years 1994-1997. Mikael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Växjö University from 1998 to 2001. Mikael further expanded their knowledge and skills by completing a Teachers degree in math and computer science at Växjö University from 2005 to 2007 through the Lärarprogrammet, Gymnasielärare program.
