Rachel Alvey, ACRP-CP has over 15 years of research and healthcare experience in various roles and industries. In 2007, they began their career as a Team Lead at Midwest Eye Institute. In 2010, they moved on to Lanter Eyecare as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for coordinating clinic and surgery schedules, pre op consultations, patient education and medication instructions, and training new employees. In 2016, they became the Business Office Manager at VAUGHT FAMILY EYECARE, LLC. In 2017, they began working at Eli Lilly and Company as a Clinical Trial Project Management, responsible for operational functions to ensure clinical trial efficiency, maintaining and updating collaboration sites, quality control of regulatory documents for FDA submission, and global collaboration and innovation. In 2018, they became a Clinical Research Monitor, Project Lead and Clinical Research Specialist, Project Manager at Indiana University School of Medicine. In 2021, they started a small business, The Grove Botany Boutique, which is a garden based boutique with a succulent bar as the main attraction. In 2022, they became a US Clinical Operations Specialist at iSTAR Medical and a Clinical Research Consultant at Research Reliance Consulting, specializing in complex, therapeutic clinical trials in ophthalmology, oncology, auto-immune disorders, alcoholic hepatitis and immunology.

Rachel Alvey completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health and Human Services from Marian University Indianapolis between 2016 and 2020. Rachel then obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Ivy Tech Community College between 2010 and 2012. Rachel is currently pursuing a Master of Science - MS in Health Information Management from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. In addition, Rachel has obtained several certifications, including a Trained Mentor from Mentor Collective in October 2021, Going Paperless: Start to Finish from LinkedIn in July 2020, Leadership from Leadership Johnson County in July 2020, Time Management: Working from Home from LinkedIn in July 2020, and an Association of Clinical Research Professionals - Certified Professional (ACRP-CP®) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in October 2020.
