Adam Matos

Adam Matos currently serves as a Senior Vice President in the Investments Team for iStar and Safehold. He is responsible for originating, underwriting and negotiating new investment opportunities for both iStar and Safehold, with a focus on the U.S. Midwest markets. Since joining the company in 2008, Mr. Matos has worked on over $2b of new investments transactions, which include all structure types including ground leases, first mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, preferred equity and JV equity capital as well as a variety of real estate product types including multifamily, residential condo, office, hospitality and senior housing. Mr. Matos graduated magna cum laude with a BS degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
