Topi Haapio

Topi Haapio, a quality manager at Istekki Oy since September 2020, leads the quality and process function, overseeing the company's certified Integrated Management System. Achievements include expanding the corporate certificate portfolio with the EcoCompass environment management certificate in 2021 and obtaining the ISO 13485 medical device QMS certificate for software manufacturing in 2022. Prior to Istekki, Topi held various roles at Tieto from 1997 to 2020, including director of quality and project manager, focusing on process improvement and delivering software solutions across multiple sectors. Topi's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science, multiple degrees from the University of Kuopio, and a graduate diploma from Tampere Business College.
