Elena Signaroldi

Elena Signaroldi is a Research Manager at Università degli Studi di Milano since January 2016 and has been a Post-doc fellow at the European Institute of Oncology since January 2009, focusing on the role of ZFP423 in brain tumors. Previously, Elena served as a Docente a contratto at I.P.I.A. "Ala Ponzone Cimino" from December 2014 to July 2015, teaching Earth Sciences and Biology for lower classes, and Hygiene and Microbiology for a technical course. Elena completed a PhD in Molecular Medicine at the European School of Molecular Medicine and Università degli Studi di Milano from 2009 to 2013, studying the H3K27me3 epigenetic mark in brain tumor development. Prior educational background includes a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Additionally, Elena gained early research experience at MIOGEN Lab, investigating a rare form of congenital muscular dystrophy.
