Meyumi Yamada

Graduated from the Department of Biological Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Science, Tokyo University of Science in 1995. While working as a cosmetics maker, he planned a cosmetics information site "@cosme" based on the response to the e-mail newsletter that he started as a personal hobby.

Participated in the launch of the site and co-founded istyle Inc. in 1999. In addition to serving as a director of the company, he launched IS Partners Co., Ltd. in 2016 with the aim of improving the skills of unemployed women and supporting employment, and became the representative director (currently a director).

He has also served as a member of the Basic Issues Subcommittee of the Consumer Economy Subcommittee of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, a member of the Information and Communication Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and a member of the Expert Headquarters of the Cabinet Secretariat and Intellectual Property Strategy Headquarters.

From June 2017, he became an outside director of Japan Post Insurance Co., Ltd. and Seino Holdings Co., Ltd., and from July 2017, he became an advisory board member of Marui Group Co., Ltd.

Received the "Grand Prix" in the individual category at "Forbes JAPAN WOMEN AWARD 2017" sponsored by "Forbes JAPAN".
