Rachele Chwee

Rachele Chwee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the waste management and sustainability sector. As the Membership Engagement Manager at ISWA International Solid Waste Association since May 2022, Rachele spearheads initiatives to enhance member engagement. Prior to this, Rachele served as Manager at the Waste Management Association of Malaysia from February 2014 to April 2022, developing programs aligned with UN SDG themes and organizing meetings with local and international partners. Rachele's earlier roles include Senior Executive and Administrative Officer at WMAM, where significant contributions included co-leading the ISWA World Congress in Kuala Lumpur in 2018 and establishing a young professionals' group. Rachele began their career with engineering internships at Nestlé and Innovative Fluid Process Sdn Bhd, after obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering (Hons) from UCSI in 2013.
