Couri Johnson

Couri Johnson is an experienced copywriter and educator with a diverse background in writing and teaching. Currently serving as a Copywriter at iSynergy since May 2023, Couri has previously held positions as an English Teacher at Collegiate Academies and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Creative Writing was obtained. Earlier experience includes teaching English as a Native Teacher for the Kurashiki Board of Education and freelance copywriting for the Miniki Isozaki Memorial Museum, creating exhibit descriptions for international audiences. A Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing was earned at Youngstown State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. Additional roles include serving as a copy editor for Jenny Literary Magazine and working as a Graduate Assistant supporting composition courses.
