Ilmari Mäkelä

Ilmari Mäkelä is a Junior Analyst at Ethos Capital since April 2024 and previously served as an Analyst Trainee. Concurrently, Ilmari holds the position of Vice Chairperson of the Board at Preemio ry and is a Member of the Representative Council at ISYY - Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland. At Preemio ry, Ilmari successfully reformed the communication strategy, enhancing engagement with members and stakeholders. Ilmari also works as a Brand Ambassador at the University of Eastern Finland, managing social media accounts and presenting study-related topics. Prior experience includes a role as a Technical Sales Representative at 1KOMMA5° Suomi, where responsibilities included designing photovoltaic solar energy systems and customer acquisition. Experience in the Finnish Defence Forces as a Petty Officer involved overseeing landing craft operations and training, complemented by earlier retail experience as a Salesperson at S-ryhmä. Ilmari is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Eastern Finland, expected to be completed in September 2024.
