Marco Scavarda

Marco Scavarda currently serves as the Head of Fraud at itti since April 2024. Marco has been an Adjunct Professor at UADE since March 2020, teaching in the Data Science Diploma program within the Faculty of Engineering and Exact Sciences. Previous roles include Fraud Prevention Manager and Regional Team Lead at Pomelo from November 2021 to April 2024, and Supervisor of Fraud Prevention at Mercado Libre from November 2019 to November 2021. Prior to these positions, Marco worked as a Data Scientist Associate at BBVA in Argentina, focusing on credit risk methodologies and audit interactions, and held various analytical roles at RAPP Argentina, MetLife, Nielsen, UMUNTU, and Visual Presence. Marco holds an Engineer’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Austral, a Master's Degree in Knowledge Management from Universidad Austral, and a Universitary Expert Degree in Data Science from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja.
