Pär Björkman

Pär Björkman has extensive work experience in various roles related to project management and IT. Pär started their career in 1986 as an IT Manager at Familjebostäder and later worked as an IT Manager for Rimpac Emballage AB from 2000 to 2007, where they were responsible for ERP systems and technical platforms. In 1998, they worked as a Senior Project Manager and SAP Consultant at Capito.

From 1996 to 1998, Pär worked as a Business Consultant and Senior Project Manager at Know IT AB, where they handled projects for Rikspolisstyrelsen, Svenska Dagbladet, Trygg Hansa, Riksförsäkringsverket, and SEB.

At Enea, they served as a Project Manager for business processes from 1988 to 1997. During this time, they managed the procurement and implementation of an ERP system (IFS) for real estate at Locum AB and built a new IT platform.

From 2007 to 2013, Pär held multiple roles at byBrick Management AB, including Service Management Consultant and Business Consultant. Pär gained experience in service management, ITIL, and worked with governments and large companies.

Pär's most recent experience includes working at Arbetsförmedlingen as an IT Project Manager from 2009 to 2016, where they managed large agile projects related to development, maintenance, and testing. Pär also worked at IT-Huset as a Senior Project Manager and IT Manager from 2014 onwards, focusing on large agile projects for governments and large companies.

In 2016, they joined Sveriges a-kassor, where they held roles as an Information Technology Project Manager from 2016 to 2018 and as a Program Manager in the Program Management Office from 2018 to 2022.

Pär Björkman obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Technology from Linköping University, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. In 2013, they completed a program in Cobit 5 Foundation from Dataföreningen kompetens. Additionally, in 2011, they pursued a focused education in Computer Technology from Astrakan Strategisk Utbildning.
