Alexandru Cociu

Alexandru Cociu currently serves as a Risk and Compliance Officer and Co-Founder at Smart Fintech since January 2020, where an innovative approach to Open Banking is developed by integrating financial expertise with advanced technology. Additionally, Alexandru has held the position of Innovation & Technology Services Executive Partner and Business Integration Manager at IT Smart Systems since December 2015. Previous experience includes roles as a Developer Consultant at Endava and a Technical Consultant at IT Smart Systems, where focus was placed on software development, customer requirements identification, and project management. Alexandru also worked as a System Analyst at Vodafone Romania and holds an Engineer's degree in Information Technology from Universitatea Tehnică a Moldovei, completed in 2008.
