Gateway ECU Troubleshooter at Italdesign

Alessio Chieffalo has several years of work experience in various roles related to validation, system testing, and engineering. Alessio has worked for multiple companies, including Italdesign, Enginium, Ferrari, Marelli, Brain Technologies, Eldor Corporation, Politecnico di Torino, PUNCH Torino, General Motors, and FCA - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

At Ferrari, they worked as a System Validation Engineer, handling the design, development, execution, reporting, and tracking of tests for the Body Computer ECU in the Ferrari Purosangue development project. Alessio used tools like VECTOR CANALYZER and DIANALYZER for signal acquisition, monitoring, software flashing, and system stimulation.

At Marelli, they held the positions of Validation project team leader and Validation project owner and validator. Alessio was responsible for designing, developing, testing, and reporting on manual and automatic tests for the electric powertrain ECU in the Ferrari SF90 Stradale and Ferrari 296 GTB. The focus was on safety, diagnosis, diagnostics, quality management, and non-regression.

At Brain Technologies, they worked as a Test Engineer, Software Developer (apprenticeship), and Software Developer. Alessio also worked as a System Test Engineer and Test Reviewer for Eldor Corporation on the DC-DC Converter in the BMS for VolksWagen vehicles.

Additionally, they worked as a Master's candidate at Politecnico di Torino, where they upgraded a preexisting structure for CubeSat satellite housing. Alessio also worked as a Controller Test Engineer for PUNCH Torino, General Motors, and FCA - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they were involved in controller testing and maintenance of HIL systems for engine control software testing.

From 2014 to 2017, they attended Politecnico di Torino where they obtained a Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering.

Prior to that, from 2008 to 2014, they also studied at Politecnico di Torino and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering.

Before entering university, from 2003 to 2008, they attended the I.T.I. - Liceo Scientifico Tecnologico "S. Mottura" in Caltanissetta. There, they received a Scientific-Technologic Diploma from the Scientific-Technologic Lyceum.

In addition to their formal education, Alessio Chieffalo also acquired several additional certifications. In January 2019, they completed the WS Robot Programming 1 - 2 certification program at KUKA Roboter Italia S.p.A. In January 2017, they obtained the Duolingo German Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) certification from Duolingo. Prior to that, in November 2016, they acquired the Duolingo German Fluency: Elementary (Estimated) certification. Finally, in July 2012, they obtained the IELTS certification from the British Council.
