Maria Teresa Cimino has a diverse work experience. Maria Teresa began their career as an Internship Trainee at Universidad de Salamanca in 2019, where they focused on characterizing components manufactured by fused deposition modeling. Maria Teresa used simulation and software analysis to study various parameters and validate their findings using the finite element method.

In 2019, Cimino joined Cornaglia Group as a CAE Analyst. In this role, they performed meshing and analysis of After Treatment System and Air Intake System for on-road and off-road vehicles using Computer Aided Engineering software. Maria Teresa actively participated in design review meetings to provide recommendations and optimize performance.

After a year and a half with Cornaglia Group, Cimino took on the role of Innovation Project Manager. As part of the Innovation Team, they were responsible for planning and overseeing innovation projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop impact solutions for the company.

Maria Teresa Cimino obtained their high school diploma from Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei in Lamezia Terme, Italy, from 2008 to 2013. Maria Teresa then pursued a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino from 2013 to 2017. After completing their bachelor's degree, Maria Teresa went on to earn a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Additive Manufacturing, from Politecnico di Torino, which they obtained between 2017 and 2019.
