Project Performance Engineer at Italdesign

Matteo Pesando began their work experience in 2015 as an Aerodynamicist and CFD Analyst for Team Policumbent, where they optimized the shape of a streamliner for the World Human Powered Speed Championship. In 2016, they obtained the Italian Speed Record and the second place in the championship. In 2016, they also completed an internship in the Aeronautical Engineering Department at Politecnico di Torino for their Master Thesis Project. In 2017, they worked as an Intern in the Aerodynamic Department at Dallara. Later that year, they joined Accenture as a Technology Consulting Analyst, focusing on supply chain management and the development of the ERP system SAP S/4HANA. In 2018, they became a Performance Engineer - Aerodynamics for Italdesign, where they managed the aerodynamics and aeroacoustics performance of cars throughout the development process, including wind tunnel and CFD tests, WLTP campaign organization, and communication of final data relevant to CO2 emissions.

Matteo Pesando completed their education by earning a Master's degree in Ingegneria aerospaziale, aeronautica e astronautica from Politecnico di Torino, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in the same field of study from Politecnico di Torino between 2011 and 2014. Apart from their academic degrees, they also hold an IELTS Certificate (International English Language Testing System) with a score of 6, which was issued by the British Council.
