Rubén Rodríguez Fernández

Rubén Rodríguez Fernández has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Rubén currently holds the position of Project Manager at Italmatch Chemicals, where they are responsible for coordinating and overseeing chemical reactor operations, installing distillation systems, and managing budgets and technical specifications.

Previously, Rubén worked as the Director of Project at Adeagua Aplicaciones Hidraulicas, where they successfully led projects for the expansion of an industrial wastewater treatment plant and the development of a drinking water treatment station. Rubén was responsible for supplier selection, equipment procurement, and project implementation planning.

Rubén also served as the Director of Industrial at GESTCOMPOST, where they focused on process control, improvement, and management of anaerobic digestion processes. Rubén also played a crucial role in the installation and management of cogeneration plants, maintenance planning, budget management with suppliers, and legalizing various service systems.

Prior to these roles, Rubén worked as the Responsible for Energy Resources, Water, and Energy at Döhler S.L.U, the Manager of Organization at La Despensa del Campo S.L, and an Agricultural Engineer at Productores Galifresh S.L. Additionally, they gained research experience at various academic institutions, including the Engineering Department of Natural Resources and Environmental at the University of Vigo, the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Salerno, and the Department of Energy at Milan Polytechnic.

From 2011 to 2015, Rubén attended the Universidade de Vigo, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Environmental Technology. Rubén'sfield of study was focused on Environmental and Renewable Energy.

Prior to their Ph.D., from 2009 to 2011, Rubén pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Renewable Energies at the Universidade de Vigo. Rubén'sstudies were centered around the topic of Energias Renovables y Medioambiente.

Between 2004 and 2009, Rubén completed a combined Bachelor's and Master's program in Civil Engineering and Geotechnics, with a specialization in Environmental and Mining Engineering. This course was also undertaken at the Universidade de Vigo.

Furthermore, from 2001 to 2004, Rubén attended the Universidad de Oviedo, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineer of Mines and Environmental. Rubén'sstudies focused on the disciplines of Sondary and Mining Prospection.

Additionally, in February 2016, Rubén obtained a certification in "Fluidez de Duolingo en alemán: Avanzado (Estimado)" from Duolingo. The institution granting the certification was Duolingo.
