Diana Alejandra Herrera Hurtado holds a Dottore magistrale in Scienze e tecnologia Alimentare from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and an Ingenieria en Alimentos from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral. Currently serving as Responsabile Controllo qualità at ITALPIZZA SPA since April 2018, key responsibilities include overseeing production operators, monitoring critical control points in the production process, and managing non-conformities. Diana has previous experience in quality control roles at Amadori and Phillips Seafood of Ecuador, where contributions included product development, formulation control, and sensory analysis. Additionally, Diana worked in quality control at Pacific Bottling Company, focusing on microbiological control and product formulation for new beverages.
