Sebastian Ochoa

Sebastian Ochoa has extensive work experience in compliance and ethics roles. Sebastian is currently the Head of Compliance and Ethics at Itaú Chile, a position they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Compliance Officer at Empresas Gasco S.A. from 2017 to 2022. Sebastian also held the role of Compliance Manager at Banco Ripley from 2013 to 2017, where they were responsible for evaluating regulations, ensuring compliance, and leading improvements in crime prevention models. Sebastian Ochoa began their career as an Analyst in Crime Prevention at Banco BICE from 2011 to 2013, where they implemented crime prevention models and designed corporate e-learning courses. Sebastian started their professional journey as a Consultant Auditor in Internal Audit and Risk Consulting at Deloitte Consulting from 2009 to 2011, where they worked on risk management, control model design, and financial audit projects for various companies.

Sebastian Ochoa holds an MBA degree from IEDE, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Sebastian also completed a Diplomado in Compliance LATAM at THOMSON REUTERS in 2018. In 2017 to 2018, they completed a Curso Claves en Equipos de Alto Desempeño at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Sebastian has a degree in Contador Auditor from Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello, which they earned from 2005 to 2009. Sebastian recently completed a Diplomado in Auditoría Interna 4.0 at the Instituto de Auditores Internos in 2021.
