Martín Pérez de Solay

Martín Pérez de Solay has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Martín is currently the Managing Director and CEO at Allkem Limited since August 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director and CEO at Orocobre Limited from November 2018 to June 2022.

Before their role at Orocobre Limited, Martín served as the Presidente at Pretróleos Sudamericanos starting from September 2011. Martín also has experience as the President and Founding Partner at Continente Siete since December 2007.

Martín's earlier work experience includes being a Professor at ITBA since January 2003 and serving as the CFO & Commercial Director at GeoPark from an unspecified date in 2005 to August 2011. Martín also worked at Citibank in Argentina Corporate Bank from 1994 to 2005.

Martín Pérez de Solay completed their primary education at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires from 1987 to 1992, obtaining a degree in Industrial Engineering. In 1993, they attended the Harvard Kennedy School for a short period to pursue a degree in Investment Appraisal, specifically a Program for Investment Appraisal and Management (PIAM). Returning to their studies in 2007, they completed a Postgraduate Program in Management (PAD) at the Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires.
