Mark Hexham

Mark joined ITBMed in November 2019 with more than 30 years of research and development experience in academic and pharmaceutical settings. His most recent role was as a Senior Clinical Development Director at Novartis Pharmaceuticals specializing in Phase 2 and 3 drug development of immunosuppressives in kidney, liver and heart transplantation. He also was member of the Cell and Gene Therapy Unit.

Mark has an MSc in Immunology from Kings College, London, and a PhD in Molecular Immunology from the University of Sheffield, UK. This was followed by a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He is an author of 37 publications and an inventor on three patents.
