Alain Becoulet

Alain Becoulet currently holds the position of Deputy Director General - Chief Scientist at ITER Organization and is also the Engineering Domain Head. Additionally, Alain is a member of Académie des Technologies de France. Prior to this, Alain has had various roles at CEA from September 1987 to January 2020, including Chef d'Institut, Adjoint au Chef d'Institut, Chef de Service, and Physicien. Alain received their Doctorat de philosophie in Physics from Paris-Sud University and Agrégation in Sciences Physiques from Ecole normale supérieure.
