Raphaël Valtot

Raphaël VALTOT is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the nuclear industry. Currently serving as the project manager for the Hot Cell Project at ITER Organization since April 2021, Raphaël VALTOT oversees cost estimation, procurement, and scheduling for a facility that maintains vital components of the Tokamak and manages irradiated waste. Previously, from September 1994 to March 2021, Raphaël VALTOT held several key positions at CEA, including Deputy Project Director for the Jules Horowitz Reactor and Head of the Nuclear Facilities Projects Department, where responsibilities involved managing significant budgets and overseeing major nuclear infrastructure projects. Raphaël VALTOT's expertise also encompasses procurement, licensing, nuclear safety, and dismantling projects. Educational credentials include a Diplôme d'ingénieur in civil engineering and a Diplôme d'études approfondies in buildings and urban techniques from INSA Lyon.
