Jose Quintana Martinez has a diverse range of work experience in facilities management and maintenance coordination. Jose started their career as a Lead Technician at Imperial Tobacco in 1997 and held that position until 2012. From there, they took on roles such as Internal Auditor and Head mechanic assistant before transitioning to the role of Maintenance Coordinator in 2015. Jose also served as a Project Manager and Facilities Manager during their tenure at Imperial Tobacco. In 2015, Jose joined ITG Brands as a Facilities Lead and continues in that position to the present.

Jose Quintana Martinez has a diverse education history. Jose obtained an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del Turabo Escuela de Ingeniería from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they attended Osha Academy in 2016, where they received a certification in Conducting job hazard analysis for safety management. In 2014, they also attended Osha Academy and obtained certifications in Safety supervision and leadership, as well as Introduction to safety management, both in the field of Operations Management and Supervision. Furthermore, from 2000 to 2002, Jose attended Mech-Tech College LLC and earned a degree in Tool and Die/cigar packing Technician, with a focus on tool die safety supervision, OSHA hazwoper, hazcom trainer, domino technician, and packing technician. Jose later pursued a certification in Hazardous Materials Management and Waste Technology/Technician from Universidad Metropolitana. Currently, Jose is a current student at Universidad del Turabo Escuela de Ingeniería, where they are studying Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Jose has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn and Alison - Empower Yourself in various fields such as project management, business acumen, diversity, equity, inclusion, technical product management, and facilities management. The most recent certifications were obtained in 2023 and include "Becoming a Thought Leader," "Business Acumen for Project Managers," "Corporate Finance: Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)," "Critical Thinking," "Decision Intelligence," "Foundations of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging," "From Compliance to Culture: A Psychological Safety Framework for Inclusion," "Microsoft Project 2016 Essential Training," "Project Management Foundations," "Project Management Foundations: Integration," "Stay Lean with Kanban," "Sustainable and ESG Supply Chains," and "Writing a Business Case."
