Francisco Javier Mejia-Blau

Francisco Javier Mejia-Blau is an accomplished soccer coach with extensive experience in various coaching roles at both the collegiate and youth levels. Currently serving as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Ithaca College since July 2021, Mejia-Blau has led the team to notable successes, including the program's first Liberty League regular season first-place finish and the League Coaching Staff of the Year award. Previous experience includes positions at South Shore Select Soccer, Syracuse University, Boston Breakers, Emerson College, and other organizations, where Mejia-Blau specialized in player development, college recruiting, and team performance. Mejia-Blau holds a Graduate Certificate in Sports Counseling and Student-Athlete Mental Wellness from Pennsylvania Western University, a master's degree in Recreation and Sport Sciences from Ohio University, and a bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication from Emerson College.
