Edward Lawns

Edward Lawns is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Infrastructure at Ithaca Energy since July 2022, Edward previously held various key positions at SSE plc, including Director of E&P, where a full life cycle oil and gas business was established, producing 40,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Other roles included Head of Strategic Transactions, overseeing power generation joint ventures, and Head of Origination and Commercial, managing an extensive energy portfolio across renewables and fossil fuels. Edward also served as Executive General Manager at Multifuel Energy Ltd, leading joint venture collaborations and optimizing asset performance. Edward is an alumnus of the University of Aberdeen.
