Tommaso Bardelli, PhD, is a UX Researcher at Ameelio since March 2023, focusing on enhancing accessibility and usability for technology serving incarcerated individuals and their families. Concurrently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at the NYU PEP Research Lab since September 2019, Tommaso leads a multidisciplinary team researching the economics of mass incarceration and advocates for the financial rights of incarcerated New Yorkers. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at NYU, UX Researcher at FINH, and Qualitative Researcher at Yale University, where contributions included the New Haven Debt Map study and ethnographic research on criminal courts. Tommaso's academic background includes a PhD in Political Science from Yale University and advanced degrees in Philosophy and History from prominent European institutions.
