Maclaurin Hutagalung

Maclaurin Hutagalung is the Business Development Director at ITHB. Maclaurin has also worked as an intern for Sony and NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre. At Sony, they proposed a business plan based on the new technology to increase SONY market share. At NLR, they developed a new algorithm to solve multi-objective optimization for designing winglet in aircraft.

Maclaurin Hutagalung completed a Ph.D. in Control Engineering and Applied Mathematics at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Maclaurin then completed an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente. Finally, they completed a B.Eng. in Electronics at the Institut Teknologi Bandung. In addition to their formal education, Maclaurin Hutagalung has also completed certification programs in Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow, Sequences, Time Series and Prediction, TensorFlow in Practice Specialization, Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow, Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning through Coursera. Maclaurin has also completed a certification program in Digital Marketing Analytics through the MIT Sloan School of Management. Finally, they have completed certification programs in Memulai Pemrograman Dengan Python and Menjadi Android Developer Expert through Dicoding Academy.

They are on a team with Roland Y.H. Silitonga - Academic Director, Sandria Sarim - Student Affairs & Career Resource Center Director, and Laura Lahindah - Head of Business School. Maclaurin Hutagalung reports to Samuel Tarigan, Rector.
