Carlos Santiago

Carlos Santiago has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Carlos recently held the position of iOS Software Engineer at Dexcom and ITJuana. Prior to that, they worked as an iOS App Developer at Grupo Salinas from 2019 to 2021. Carlos also gained valuable experience as an iOS App Developer Trainee at iOS Development Lab FI@UNAM in 2018. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at J.A. DÍAZ Y CIA, including Varec Product Champion Engineer, Regional Sales Engineer, and Inside Sales Engineer. Carlos started their career as a Programmable Logic Controllers Developer and Academic Prototypes at the Facultad de Ingeniería de la UNAM/Control Department in 2008.

Carlos Santiago began their education at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) where they obtained a degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering from 2000 to 2005. After some time, they decided to pursue a career in the field of mobile app development and enrolled at the Facultad de Ingeniería de la UNAM from 2018 to 2019. During this period, they earned a degree as an iOS App Developer. In order to further enhance their skills, Carlos Santiago attended DGTIC / UNAM in 2022 and 2023 to specialize in Advanced iOS and Android Development. In addition, they obtained several certifications throughout their education including Scrum Foundations from ITJuana in January 2022, a Reading Comprehension Certificate from ENALLT UNAM in August 2018, and an Official Institutional Score Report TOEIC certificate (with a total score of 680) from Review Quality in February 2018.
