Mina Marmpena

Mina Marmpena currently serves as the Head of AI/ML and Technical Project Manager at ITML, overseeing EU projects focused on AI-based systems in automotive, energy sustainability, and mobility as a service. With a robust background in artificial intelligence and machine learning, Mina's responsibilities include designing AI solutions, managing MLOps, and developing streaming applications and microservices architecture. Previous experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Scientist at SoftBank Robotics Europe, an Early Stage Researcher in generative models, and academic positions at the University of Plymouth and BIOSIGNAL LAB, with a focus on robotics and data analysis. Mina holds a PhD from the University of Plymouth and a Master’s Degree in Neuroinformatics from the University of Patras, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hellenic Open University.
