Nathan David Veitch

Nathan David Veitch has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nathan David worked as a DevOps Engineer at ITONICS | Shaping Innovation from February 2022. Prior to that, they were a FileMaker Developer at Kiza Solutions from March 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Kiza Solutions, Nathan worked as a Freelance FileMaker Developer, where they designed and developed FileMaker systems from September 2018 to March 2019. Nathan David also worked as a Senior FileMaker Developer at IXD Database Solutions (Pty) Ltd. from December 2015 to August 2018, providing customized software systems to clients.

In addition, Nathan briefly served as a Business Intelligence Manager at Warwick Wealth in 2015. Nathan David started their career as a FileMaker Developer at IXD Database Solutions (Pty) Ltd. in June 2012, where they developed database applications for clients, including a project in Cameroon.

Nathan also has experience in network administration. Nathan David worked as a Network Administrator at Lowe and Partners SA from March 2012 to June 2012 and at Lowe Bull from June 2009 to February 2012. Nathan David was responsible for maintaining the network and IT support for these agencies.

Over the years, Nathan has gained expertise in various roles, including support network technician at First Consulting Alliance from October 2008 to March 2012, and PC technician and desktop support at Dial a Nerd from August 2007 to September 2008.

Nathan David Veitch's education history includes earning several certifications in the field of information technology and computer science. In 1991, they attended Bryanston High School and completed their Matric degree in 1996. Following high school, from 2002 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science at Midrand Graduate Institute.

In 2010, Nathan obtained a CompTIA Network+ Certification from CompTIA. That same year, they also completed a course in CompTIA N+ at New Horizons - Western Cape. In 2012, they obtained a FileMaker 12 Certified Developer degree from Prometric.

In more recent years, Nathan has focused on cloud computing. In 2021, they achieved an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner degree in Cloud from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate degree from AWS in October 2021.
