Daniel Aitken

Daniel Aitken began their work experience as a Graduate Engineer at SSE plc in August 2017. Daniel then moved on to SSE Renewables in September 2019, working as an Electrical Engineer until August 2021. Following this, they joined SSE plc as a Submarine Cable Engineer from August 2021 to February 2022. Next, Daniel worked at Arup as an Engineer from February 2022 to March 2023. Daniel then briefly served as a Principal Engineer at another company before joining ITPEnergised in March 2023, where they currently hold the role of Principal Engineer - Cables.

Daniel Aitken pursued a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Strathclyde from 2011 to 2017.
