Netanella Refael

Associate Director - Graduate Programs at itrek

Netanella Refael has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Program Associate at itrek Business in February 2016. Netanella then progressed to become an Alumni Community Manager in February 2017. From June 2017 to September 2019, they served as a Program Manager for itrek Business, before being promoted to Senior Program Manager in September 2019. In June 2021, they moved to work as a Senior Program Manager for itrek Business & STEM. Most recently, in August 2022, they were appointed as the Associate Director - Graduate Programs at itrek.

Prior to working at itrek, Netanella Refael also held roles at Hasbara Fellowships. Netanella started as the New York Campus Coordinator in August 2010 and later became the Administrative and Programming Coordinator in June 2011. In June 2013, they were promoted to the position of Bookkeeper and Associate Director. Their tenure at Hasbara Fellowships ended in January 2016.

Netanella Refael completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice from 2007 to 2011. Alongside their degree, they have obtained several certifications in project management. In 2022, they received certifications in "Designing Project Information Hubs for Program and Project Performance" and "Storytelling That Delivers Program and Project Outcomes" from the University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence. In 2021, they earned certifications in "Managing Conflicts on Programs and Projects with Cultural and Emotional Intelligence," "Effective Communication for Program and Project Stakeholders and Teams," and "Persuasion and Presence for Program and Project Managers" from the same institution. Moreover, in 2021 they completed the "International Project Management" certification from Rochester Institute of Technology, while in 2020 they obtained certifications in "Best Practices for Project Management Success" and "Project Management Life Cycle" from the same institution.
