Emily Wood

Emily Wood is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial law and intellectual property. Currently serving as Senior Manager - Commercial Law and Senior Attorney at Itron, Inc. since January 2018, Emily has a strong background in advising on technology and privacy aspects of complex commercial transactions. Previous positions include Senior Commercial Counsel at Silver Spring Networks and Intellectual Property Associate at Jones Day, where Emily drafted and reviewed a variety of technology transaction agreements. Emily also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable T. John Ward at the US Courts, gained early experience as a Research Engineer with SRI International, and worked as a Software Engineer at Scitor Corporation. Emily holds a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Film, Television & Theater from the University of Notre Dame.
