Maitrayee Ganguly

Maitrayee Ganguly is the Vice President of Global Quality at Itron. Maitrayee has over ten years of experience in Quality and Reliability, and has been with Itron for two years.

Maitrayee Ganguly began their career at CBA Group in January 2008 as Vice President of Quality & Reliability. Maitrayee was responsible for Global Quality across all companies and facilities within CBA, and provided corporate level support to Patriarch Partners Portfolio companies including Dura Automotive, MD Helicopter Corporation, and Scan Optics.

During their time at CBA Group, Ms. Ganguly led a worldwide organization for quality-related product development, manufacturing, supply chain, customer focus, business process, ISO compliant Quality Management System (QMS), regulatory, product safety, and FDA21 CFR 820 cGMP compliance for medical device manufacturing. Maitrayee was also responsible for driving management of strategic quality and business improvement initiatives for strategic business units (SBUs) aligned with the Balanced Scorecard model of KPI deployment, with a focus on Customer Value of ownership, Operational Excellence, and Reduction in Cost of Poor Quality. In addition, they managed the execution of improvement programs using Six Sigma methodology, Design for Reliability (DFR), Lean and 8D problem solving methodologies for root cause solutions and corrective actions.

Ms. Ganguly joined Itron in 2017 as Vice President of Global Quality. In this role, they are responsible for leading Itron’s quality organization and overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control for the company’s products and services. Under their leadership, Itron has seen significant improvements in product quality and customer satisfaction.

Maitrayee Ganguly has a M.S. in Quality and Applied Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The University of Connecticut. Maitrayee also has certification from Master Black Belt.
