Florian Biermann

Florian Biermann is a Principal Software Engineer at SimCorp since August 2018, specializing in designing new API solutions and enhancing the core platform and business model language. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer, where Florian acted as a tech-lead for the OTC Core and Software Engineer, focusing on OTC financial instruments and domain-specific languages. Florian also serves as an External Lecturer at IT-Universitetet i København, teaching functional programming in Scala, and previously contributed as a Research Assistant in developing a digital gaze-controlled manual presented at CES Las Vegas. Education includes a PhD in Computer Science and an M.Sc. in Software Development and Technology from IT-Universitetet i København, alongside a B.Sc. in Digital Media and Computer Science from the University of Bremen.
