Jonas Valbjørn Andersen

Jonas Valbjørn Andersen has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and organizations. Jonas currently serves as the Head of Information Systems and Digital Innovation Research Group at IT-Universitetet i København, where they also hold the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Jonas worked as an Assistant Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam / VU. Jonas also gained experience as a Doctoral Researcher at Warwick Business School and as an Assistant Researcher at Göteborgs universitet. Additionally, Jonas has held various teaching roles, including External Lecturer positions at Copenhagen Business School and the Dept. of Language and Business Communication, Aahus School of Business. Jonas has also worked as a Process Consultant at Podio, a Data Analytics & Management Consultant at NESR, and an Information Manager at Connecting Cubes. Early in their career, Jonas worked as a Consultant at Advice A/S.

Jonas Valbjørn Andersen completed a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Aarhus University in 2003. Jonas then pursued a Master's degree in the same field from Aarhus University, which they completed in 2007. In 2012, Jonas enrolled at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, where they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in an unspecified field of study in 2013. Jonas further continued their education at the same institution and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management Information Systems, General in 2016. In addition to their degrees, Jonas also acquired certifications in R Programming and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015 and 2014, respectively.
