Ahmed Shalan

Ahmed Shalan has a comprehensive work experience in the field of software engineering and IT architecture. Ahmed began their career as a Software Engineer at Credit Guarantee Company in 2004, where they focused on writing efficient source code and collaborating with other programmers.

In 2005, Ahmed joined Egyptian Software & Systems (PrimaSoft) as a Software Engineer, before being promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for requirements analysis, source code development, and collaborating with other programmers. Ahmed was involved in various projects, including building a portal for the Ministry of Housing and a CRM portal for the Ministry of Trade & Industry.

Ahmed then joined ITWorx in 2007 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of telecom operator portals for du. Ahmed later transitioned to the role of Technical Architect, where they focused on creating optimal technical solutions, ensuring system design quality, and providing technical support. Ahmed worked with prominent organizations, including du and a leading company in the agribusiness field.

Currently, Ahmed serves as the Lead Technical Architect at ITWorx, specializing in the design and maintenance of trialing platforms for agribusiness. This cloud-based solution is hosted on AWS and plays a vital role in designing new products for the company.

Throughout their career, Ahmed has demonstrated strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Ahmed Shalan completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering from Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, attending from 1998 to 2003. In 2015, they obtained the TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group.
