Mahmoud Gebreel

Mahmoud Gebreel has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Mahmoud started their career in 2008 as a Customer Care Agent at ZEDNY, where they were responsible for answering customer's questions, solving customer problems, and booking courses for customers.

In 2009, they worked as an IT Help Disk Support Engineer (Temp project) at Arab Banking Corporation, where they launched a new core banking system across all branches in Egypt. Mahmoud also performed functional testing on machines and communicated user problems to the responsible team. As a Technical Support Trainee during their summer training at the same company, they handled user issues, troubleshooted PC problems, and contacted service centers.

In 2010, Mahmoud joined Vodafone Egypt as a Customer Care Agent for the 888 project. Their responsibilities included answering customer inquiries and solving customer problems. Later that year, they transitioned to Mantrac Group as a Business System Analyst. Mahmoud was involved in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements. Mahmoud also worked closely with the development team to deliver user requirements and analyze system integration requirements.

Since 2014, Mahmoud has been working at ITWorx. Mahmoud started as a Systems Analyst, where they handled communication and provided guidance to customers according to their business needs. Mahmoud also conducted gap analysis and integration level between existing and new systems. In 2015, they were promoted to Senior Systems Analyst and then to Lead Business Analyst in 2019. Mahmoud Gebreel attended the Al Manara School from 1995 to 2006, where they obtained a degree with a grade of 88.04% in the fields of Math and Physics. Following that, they pursued further education at the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences from 2007 to 2010, earning a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). In terms of additional certifications, Mahmoud obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® certification from Scrum Alliance in April 2019. Mahmoud also obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2022.
