Shaimaa Yassen

Shaimaa Yassen has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software testing and development. Shaimaa started their career as an Android Developer Trainee at 700apps in 2016. Shaimaa then moved on to work as an Android Developer at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from January 2017 to May 2017.

In 2017, Shaimaa joined Integrated Technology Group (ITG) as an Android Developer. Shaimaa worked there until March 2018.

Following that, they worked at International Turnkey Systems - ITS as a Software Test Engineer from April 2018 to September 2019. During this time, they were responsible for analyzing business requirements and conducting early static testing.

From September 2019 to January 2020, Shaimaa worked at ITWorx as a Software Test Engineer. Here, they applied various testing methodologies and tracked bugs and issues until resolution. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer at ITWorx from January 2020 to the present, where they have been working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies within Sitecore projects. Shaimaa has also been responsible for mentoring and providing guidance to new team members.

Overall, Shaimaa Yassen has demonstrated their expertise in software testing and development through their various roles and experiences.

Shaimaa Yassen completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Faculty of Computer and Information in 2016, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Shaimaa then pursued a Diploma's degree in Mobile Development from the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from 2016 to 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Shaimaa obtained the following: ISTQB® CTFL "Foundation Level" and ISTQB® CTFL Agile Tester certifications from the Software Engineering Competence Center-SECC in December 2017 and July 2018 respectively. Shaimaa also obtained certifications in "Automating in the Browser Using JavaScript" from TestAutomationU in June 2020, "Introduction to JavaScript" from TestAutomationU in April 2022, and "Playwright with JavaScript" from TestAutomationU in October 2022.
