Toka Ashraf

Toka Ashraf has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and automation. Toka started their career at Microsoft Aspire Woman initiative as a PR and Marketing Team Leader, where they supported and empowered young women across the Arab World and Africa. Toka then joined Android Student Clubs and IBM as a Trainee, gaining knowledge in mobile application development. Later, they worked at Innovety as a Trainee, participating in entrepreneurship training programs.

In 2016, Toka joined Sohba as a Social Media Specialist, where they were responsible for promoting an Android application for travelers. Toka then joined Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services as a Testing Engineer, participating in software deployment and writing test cases.

In 2019, Toka joined ITWorx as a Test Automation Engineer, automating web projects, APIs, and desktop apps using various tools and technologies. Toka also worked as a Senior SDET, responsible for automating UI and API tests and integrating them with CI/CD pipelines. Currently, they hold the position of an Automation Test Lead at ITWorx.

Throughout their career, Toka has gained expertise in automation testing, using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Cypress, and Katalon Studio. Toka also has experience in writing test cases, reporting bugs, and setting up testing environments.

Toka Ashraf completed their high school education from Althanwya for Girls High School between the years 2008 and 2011, with a focus on science and mathematics. Afterward, they pursued an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Faculty of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Menoufya University from 2011 to 2016.

In terms of additional certifications, Toka obtained several certifications in the field of software quality engineering. In November 2016, they received certifications in "Foundations of Programming: Software Quality Assurance," "Insights on Software Quality Engineering," and "Managing Project Quality" from LinkedIn. Toka also obtained a certification in "Using JUnit for Testing in Java" from LinkedIn in the same month.

In July 2015, Toka completed a traineeship at IBM in the Mobile Application track as part of their educational journey. Toka also received an ASC (Android Student Clubs) certification in the same month.

Moreover, in July 2015, Toka obtained an EMC Academic Associate certification in Cloud Infrastructure and Services. Toka also participated in the Innov Egypt program, organized by TIEC, in February 2014.

Lastly, Toka obtained an ISTQB CTFL certification from the Software Engineering Competence Center-SECC in April 2017. There is also an additional certification mentioned, "Information Storage and Management v2" from EMC, although the specific month and year of its acquisition are not provided.
