Torsten Katthöfer

Torsten Katthöfer is an experienced professional in data science and technology with a diverse background spanning several leadership roles in academia and the technology sector. Currently serving as a Lecturer and Domain Expert in Data Science at IU International University of Applied Sciences, Torsten moderates practice exchanges for students, focusing on machine learning and generative AI applications. As CEO, CTO, and Co-Founder at contexxt.ai since January 2019, Torsten drives the strategic development of SaaS solutions aimed at optimizing user engagement. Previous roles include technology transfer at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), team leadership at Hitachi Solutions Europe, and managing directorial positions in various analytics and intelligence firms. Torsten's career began at debis Systemhaus GEI, culminating in a diploma in Information Technology from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund.
