Naoya Furuta

Coordinator - Japan Liaison Office at IUCN

Naoya Furuta is an experienced professional currently serving as the Coordinator for the Japan Liaison Office and as a Senior Project Officer at IUCN since May 2009. Additionally, Naoya has been a Professor at Taisho University since June 2015. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at Mitsubishi Research Institute from October 2001 to April 2009. Naoya holds a Doctor's Degree in Global Environmental Studies from The University of Tokyo, obtained between April 2010 and March 2015, as well as a Master's degree in Biometrics from the same institution, which was completed in 1992.
