Nathalie Akakpo

Nathalie Akakpo has a strong background in data science and academia. Nathalie worked as a Senior Data Scientist at IVADO Labs from June 2023 to the present. Prior to that, they focused on motherhood from April 2019 onwards. From November 2020 to May 2023, Nathalie worked as a Data Scientist at Intact, where they utilized big telematics data to develop web applications, Python modules, and pipelines for geospatial visualization, advanced analytics, exploratory data analysis, feature selection and engineering, model evaluation, and reporting. Prior to Intact, from January 2020 to November 2020, Nathalie served as a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton. Nathalie also has a strong academic background, having served as a Maître de Conférences at Sorbonne Université from January 2018 to January 2020, where they contributed to the development of statistics, data science, and machine learning curriculum. Nathalie taught a range of courses and had numerous research achievements. Before Sorbonne Université, Nathalie worked as a Maître de Conférences at Université Pierre et Marie Curie from September 2010 to December 2017.

Nathalie Akakpo obtained their Doctorat degree in Statistiques from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they also have several certifications. These include "Building Cloud Computing Solutions at Scale" from Coursera in February 2023, "Neo4j Certified Professional" from Neo4j in July 2020, "Spécialisation Deep Learning" from Coursera in August 2019, "Using Databases with Python" from Coursera in July 2018, "Using Python to Access Web Data" from Coursera in July 2018, "Big Data Modeling and Management Systems" from Coursera in April 2018, and "Introduction to Big Data" from Coursera in March 2018.
