Barbara Decelle

Health Research Advisor at IVADO

Barbara Decelle is a seasoned health research advisor currently working at IVADO since February 2019. Barbara participated in the 100-Day Challenge at L'effet A in 2020, a program aimed at empowering women to advance their careers. From April 2008 to February 2019, Barbara served as a research assistant in the Cellular Mechanisms of Morphogenesis during Mitosis and Cell Motility research unit, focusing on cell division and migration pathways in Drosophila and screening for treatments against invasive cancers. Earlier in their career, Barbara worked as a scientific advisor at Creo, inc., where responsibilities included animating activities for the Eureka festival and popularizing biological concepts for the video game GENOMIA 2. Barbara holds a Master's degree in Biology from Concordia University and a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Paris-Sud University.
