Olivier Durand

Olivier Durand has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Olivier started their career as a Software Engineer at DATAFIRST in 2002. Olivier then worked as a Trainee Consultant at Capgemini, where they developed an Intranet for human resources and staffing management.

Durand then moved on to Calyon, where they held multiple roles. Firstly, as a Technical & Functional Support Engineer, they provided FO IT support on pre-trade tools for Global Equity Derivatives traders. Olivier then became a Project Manager, working on pre-trade tools for Calyon Global Equity Derivatives, specifically market making tools and volatility management.

After Calyon, Durand joined Natixis as a Business Analyst, specializing in equity derivatives. Olivier was responsible for functional design of the Front to Back STP chain enhancement on listed and OTC products. Olivier also worked on the deployment of a new Brokerage activity in Asia.

Durand then transitioned to Exane Derivatives, where they served as a Business Analyst and Product Owner. Olivier worked on applications for sales and trading teams, focusing on transactions management, position keeping, and risk management. Olivier was involved in defining product vision, eliciting business requirements, and managing the product backlog.

Durand's next role was as a Product Manager at Ullink (now part of Itiviti), where they defined the product vision for Listed Derivatives domain and implemented a Scrum of Scrum with multiple development teams.

Olivier then joined GFI Informatique as a Business Analyst and Consultant, working for Natixis. Olivier played a key role in setting up a Behavior Driven Development process and designing new features for a web platform aimed at clients interested in structured products.

Durand later worked at Société Générale as an Enterprise Architect in the ITEC/ARC department for GBIS entity. Olivier focused on strategic initiatives, collaborating on projects such as new client collateral management offer and IS Strategy on Agency Lending business.

Before their current role, Durand co-founded FIRECAMP, a startup offering innovative products and services for creative businesses. Their responsibilities included overseeing the company's creative projects involving robotics, augmented/virtual reality, and digital consulting.

Durand is currently the Head of Product (Solution Owner) at Ivalua. Olivier leads the Invoice-to-Pay product, collaborating with stakeholders to co-construct the product vision and roadmap. Olivier manages a team of product and software engineers, works closely with clients and partners, and drives business innovations through technology.
