Jacques Malan

Jacques Malan, MPhil, is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Human Resources at Ivanhoe Mines since October 2012, Jacques oversees group HR operational support, the full employee life cycle, and drives HR improvement projects while also acting as a Wellness Champion. Previous roles included HR functions at Murray & Roberts Cementation and Aquarius Platinum Limited. An educational background includes a Master of Philosophy in People Management from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor's degree in History and Strategy from Stellenbosch University. Early career experience includes service as an Infantry Officer in the South African National Defence Force.
