Michael Orlay

Michael Orlay is a seasoned Project Planning Manager currently employed at Ivanhoe Mines since September 2022. Previously, Michael held roles such as Senior Project Planner at Wood and COENG Consulting and Construction Engineers, where responsibilities included leading significant projects like the design and construction of a concentrator plant at Wesizwe’s Bakubung platinum mine. With extensive experience in project planning across various construction and mining sectors, Michael is proficient in software tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. Educationally, Michael holds an Honours degree in BSc. Construction Management with a focus on Project Management from the University of Pretoria.
